Someone definatley wore it better and Miss Kelly Rowland's version of this pink ruffled dress by Marchesa, stands out the most in my case. Ashanti did pull it off yes But... I still prefer Kelly's version... and Ashanti had worn the dress first at a different red carpet event. Guess someone figured they can wear it better. ;-) [Image; _]

'Out with the OLD and in with the NEW', they say, not so easy in fashion, its 'evolve with the old attached to the new '(if that makes sense at all but it is what it is).2013 trends are not too faraway from the 2012 fashion trends and be that as it may,the Spring-Summer 2013 Runway from Proenza Schouler made a splash of ANIMAL PATCHWORK PRINTS one of this year's trends to look out for. I loooooove, Awards shows especially the red carpet moments.2012 obviously had those and my oh my, even my best dressed lady on this year's red carpet came as a bit of a shock to me.... well sort of (wink).I came up with my own list of 2012's top 3 best dressed ladies and worst dressed from the Oscar Awards, Grammies and other Awards in between. Starting with the good stuff; My first place goes to Kelly Rowland i don't know about you but at this year's Grammy Awards she stunned me I had no idea she had it in her to pull off the GRAND "ball" look she was absolutely divine in Alberta Ferretti.I'm definately looking forward to 2013 Grammies to see what she will do to follow up that look. EXCELLENT !Bravo Miss Kelly! My second place and contender of first is the beautiful Sofia Vergara.She always looks amazing,she knows her body and knows how to dress it(YOU SHOULD TO..if you don't ), but the Emmy Awards very much belonged to her.In Zuhai...

2012... 2012.. In a couple days we will be saying GOOD BYE! But we will surely remember you for the amazing fashion trends you certainly came along with.As we all know fashion doesn't just VANISH from the face of the earth but EVOLVES as the years and decades go by so will be seeing most of these trends as we make our way into 2013! Inspired I made a collage to give tribute to some of 2012's trends such as the prints, the wedges, colour  blocking  and head wraps.In my own opinion prints made more noise compared to the rest of the other trends, THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! From shoes to dresses (short and long) pants, shorts, jackets... I can go on and on but simply put.. PRINTS RULED! And my personal favourite look was the short printed dress with a belt on the waist,rocked in either flats or heels, in other words its versatile.
